Do we buy hours or results?

Who is AMPS for?

Yes. Most programmes start with one site and a few bays, prove the results, and then extend to more bays, repair areas or sites. Each extension is its own scoped decision.

What is in the AMPS technology?

It starts with rugged tablets, smartphones and smart glasses. Later steps can add parts and VIN scanners, first-person cameras, connected tools, AI documentation software and, with partners, scanners and robotics. All devices are provided and managed by AMPS.

How the work is done: photos and short videos, the digital vehicle check, repair steps and their timing, key checks and the parts used. On complex jobs, smart glasses add hands-free video and remote expert support.

Physical AI is AI that perceives, decides and acts in the real world through robots. It is expected to reach the service floor step by step, starting with routine tasks. Businesses that already document their work are well placed when it arrives, without having to invest in it today.

Will our own staff be monitored?

No. Captured data is about the work, never about individual people, and is never used to assess, rank or discipline staff. Faces, number plates and customer data are removed before any processing.

How do we involve our works council?

Every programme comes with a works council pack: briefing, capture policy, notices, a staff Q&A and the data processing agreement. Involve them early; AMPS can join the conversation.

Is it GDPR compliant?

The programme is built on GDPR principles: data minimisation, purpose limitation, transparency and anonymisation first. Legal basis, roles, retention and storage are set out in your agreement and data processing agreement.

Will capture be in customer areas?

No. Capture is limited to the agreed bays. Reception, offices and staff rooms are excluded, and devices face the work, not the people.

Request a programme proposal. Within one working day we plan a scoping call; then you receive a written proposal with scope, milestones, deliverables and a data-use clause. After signing, the team and kit are prepared and the programme starts.
