Repair areas

Six repair areas. Every one ready for the next step.

Each area covers repair, maintenance and service work that the AMPS team takes on in agreed bays. Work is documented digitally from day one, and each area has its own next steps: assistance on complex work, insight from your data and, with partners, automation. Select an area to see the work covered, what we document and what we modernise.

Service & maintenance

Scheduled maintenance and service, APK / MOT preparation, brakes and suspension. The same tasks repeat across brands, sites and dealer networks, which makes digital documentation pay off fastest here, and makes this the area where automation is expected to start.

Where the industry is heading Manufacturers already record skilled hands to train robots. At Tesla in Grünheide, selected employees wear cameras that record how they grip tools, handle parts and carry out work steps, to teach the Optimus humanoid robot. What we document, area by area.

Four types of documentation, recorded during the agreed work: the basis for proof per job, insight in your monthly report and every next step on the roadmap. The exact scope for your site, group or network is agreed in writing before the programme starts, and everything is anonymised before it is processed.

Why the data is worth learning from.

Good documentation starts with work done well. The work is carried out by AMPS team members employed by AutoMPS LLP, working to one standard under an AMPS team lead, so results from different repair areas, sites and networks can be compared.
