Why AMPS

Capacity today. A modern aftersales tomorrow.

Aftersales teams face a shortage of technicians, more complex cars and higher expectations from manufacturers, insurers and customers. AMPS answers all three with one programme: a dedicated team that takes care of today’s work and moves your service operation forward, step by step.

The aftersales reality

Three service site challenges. One programme.

The challenge Technicians are scarce Open vacancies stay open, work gets pushed back and your current team absorbs the pressure.
The AMPS answer A dedicated AMPS team takes on agreed work in agreed bays, from day one.
The challenge Everything must be proven Manufacturers, insurers and customers expect work to be documented, and know-how rarely is.
The AMPS answer Work documented on tablet: photos, video, digital checks and times.
The challenge Every site works differently Methods and repair times vary between dealers and sites, and catalogue times rarely show what really happens in the bay.
The AMPS answer Measured repair times per step, comparable across sites and against OEM times.

Six things that make the AMPS way of working different.

Every AMPS programme is built to be practical, measurable and safe, from the first job to the last milestone.

Service site benefits over time

What each service site gains along the way.

What is documented in your bays makes your service operation easier to run, easier to train for and better prepared for automation.

Short term Data captured, work done. From the first day, the agreed work in the agreed bays is done and documented.
Mid term Your repairs become your training. The anonymised captures from your own location become the AMPS Repair Library, plus insight into how work really flows in your bays.
Long term Automation at your own sites. When automation and robot-assisted repair arrive, they are expected to start with routine tasks. Your documented workflows give you a head start.
Optional service · priced separately

AMPS Repair Library.

Location-specific, step-by-step training material built from real repairs in your own service operation: on the vehicles you service, with your tools and your bay layout. It is kept up to date as new repairs are captured, so less-experienced staff can carry out defined jobs with guidance and new staff get up to speed faster.

The Repair Library is an optional service on top of a programme. It is priced separately and not part of the programme price. Only anonymised captures are used.
